MAC Pageants National Cheerleading Competition

$150.00$300.00

Contestants will perform a cheer, dance, or pom-pom routine or any combination of these three types of routines. Cheers may support MAC Pageants or any team. Dance moves should be age appropriate and should not be suggestive or provocative. Age appropriate makeup may be worn in all age divisions.

Judges will look for skill variety (tumbling, kicks, jumps, etc.), proper technique (toes pointed, level arms, no bent wrists, clean motions, etc.), high energy level and ability to excite the crowd if a cheer is included in the performance. Cheerleading performances should not be all tumbling. Tumbling skills should be performed in a 10’ x 10’ area.

Cheerleading performances have a time limit of 45 seconds. At 45 seconds, a timer will sound and the music will fade out. At that time you must stop performing. No points will be deducted from your score if this occurs. The 45 second limit is enforced so each contestant performs for the same amount of time and so we can stay on schedule.

If you need music for your performance, upload it using this link: https://goo.gl/pSzdhe.

A $150 Sponsor Fee is required for each Cheerleading entry. Sponsors may be listed under each contestant’s photo in the digital National Program Book for her age group. Cheerleading entry fees count toward advertising awards, but no advertising space is given nor do they take the place of the required $1200 Queens’ sponsor fee.

Sponsor Fees, entry fees and all other pageant fees are non-refundable.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AN AMERICAN COED?

A Coed is a female attending a co-educational college or university. A young woman referred to as a Coed calls to mind a dedicated student, preparing herself to become the very best person she can be, while having a blast at the same time!

IF I WIN MY MAC STATE PAGEANT, WHAT WILL BE REQUIRED OF ME?

Each MAC STATE PAGEANT WINNER is required to attend the National MAC Pageant to compete for the Queen's title for her age group. If the state pageant winner does not sign the MAC State Winner’s contract & attend the National MAC Pageant during the week of Thanksgiving in Lake Buena Vista, FL, she will forfeit her state title, all prizes, & cash awards.

DO I HAVE TO DO A TALENT TO COMPETE IN A MAC PAGEANT?

Our talent competition is optional. It is scored by a separate panel of judges than the panel that selects the overall queen in each age division. Optional contests have absolutely no bearing on who wins the pageant.
