What is a Sponsor Fee?

A Sponsor Fee is the required entry fee to compete for the queens' titles in your age division for your region.

How much is the entry fee?

For a MAC Pageant Regional competition, the required entry fee is $400. See your MAC Pageant Welcome E-mail for your payment due date.

Why do we charge entry fees?

Entry fees help pay for costs of producing the regional and national pageants including cash awards, trophies, plaques, crowns, banners and flowers for award winners. In addition, Sponsor Fee payments help pay for hotel meeting room rental, staging, lighting, sound equipment and office, staff and judges’ expenses.

Who are sponsors?

Anyone may sponsor you by paying all or a portion of your required entry fee. Sponsors may be an individual, such as a family member or friend. Sponsors may also be businesses, civic groups, church groups, clubs or other organizations. If you are old enough, you may help pay your own Sponsor Fee by working to earn money, such as babysitting, or by holding fundraisers in your community, school or church. If a business contributes to your Sponsor Fee, the contribution is tax-deductible as an advertising expense. All the business needs is the cancelled check. If payment is made in cash, email the pageant office at patty@macpageants.org and we will email you receipts that you may print and fill out for your business sponsors.

How do sponsors help pay my entry fee?

Sponsors help pay your required entry fee by making a monetary contribution to pay all, or a portion, of your Sponsor Fee. Sponsors may make payments online using the button at the bottom of this page, or they may mail payments to the pageant office.

In return for the contribution, sponsors’ names are listed under each contestants’ picture in the front section of the digital program book. You may have as many sponsors as you need to reach your total entry fee, however, no more than seven sponsors may be listed under your picture in the digital program book. Sponsors’ names must be emailed to patty@macpageants.org and may include hyperlinks to the sponsors' websites.

How do I find sponsors?

Sit down with your parents to read and discuss the MAC Pageants Regional Newsletter 1. Be sure you are familiar with this information so you can answer any questions you might be asked about MAC Pageants. Make a list of prospective sponsors including family members, businesses and clubs. Dress up and look your best. Have your Digital Sample Program Book and “Letter to Prospective Sponsors” from page 3 of MAC Pageants Regional Newsletter 1 ready. If you are contacting several prospective sponsors, print copies of the letter. Be excited about your MAC Pageant experience and it will be contagious!

What do I say to a prospective sponsor?

Tell your prospective sponsor that you have been selected as a Regional Finalist for MAC Pageants and you are working to raise the entry fee necessary to compete in the pageant.

How and when do I pay my Sponsor Fee?

See your MAC Pageant Welcome E-mail for your entry fee amount and payment due date. You may make payments by using the button at the bottom of this page or payments may be mailed to the pageant office a the address below.

Excellent Pageant Circuit

MAC Pageants is an amazing pageant circuit. This is our 2nd time participating with them. They make you feel like family. My husband recently received a prosthetic leg. The staff made sure to make him feel welcome. They set up seating so he could see our daughter. He assisted him up and down the stage. Amazing group of people! Happy to call them family. Now as a mom to royalty, we will be seeing more of them!

Great experience

This was our first year at MAC and we couldn't be more pleased. It was organized and well run. The staff were helpful and caring. My daughter said crown or no crown she wanted to return to MAC in the future. Great experience.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AN AMERICAN COED?

A Coed is a female attending a co-educational college or university. A young woman referred to as a Coed calls to mind a dedicated student, preparing herself to become the very best person she can be, while having a blast at the same time!

IF I WIN MY MAC STATE PAGEANT, WHAT WILL BE REQUIRED OF ME?

Each MAC STATE PAGEANT WINNER is required to attend the National MAC Pageant to compete for the Queen's title for her age group. If the state pageant winner does not sign the MAC State Winner’s contract & attend the National MAC Pageant during the week of Thanksgiving in Lake Buena Vista, FL, she will forfeit her state title, all prizes, & cash awards.

DO I HAVE TO DO A TALENT TO COMPETE IN A MAC PAGEANT?

Our talent competition is optional. It is scored by a separate panel of judges than the panel that selects the overall queen in each age division. Optional contests have absolutely no bearing on who wins the pageant.
